Lennox XP13-042 Control Board
The control board is created to control everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, most sensors and the blower all at once. The entire heating and cooling system will not run without the control board configured and seated properly. You must do some research when you choose a replacement because of the diversity of particular brands and their models. The board that you will choose should have part numbers that match the brand and the model of your particular system.
Key clues of an unhealthy primary control board
- There is some sort of error code showing up somewhere on the circuit board
- The entire system needs to be reset many times a week for it to kick in
- Entire unit does not go well
