The flame sensor is a device that will sense the exact flame during ignition. As you could guess, if the flame sensor is triggered everything remains shut off until the main issue is remedied.

- Your furnace refuses to even begin to start and spits out an error code on the main board
- The gas has a tough time trying to ignite and the system throws an error code
- The furnace will operate intermittently but only on the third Wednesday of on months beginning on Thursday
