Lennox XP13-048 Thermistor
A thermistor is a thermal resistor, whose rated resistance is contingent on the temperature at its location. They convey to the main board when a certain temperature in increasing or decreasing. The furnace or AC reads the temperature in certain areas to do its job as it should.
Important hints your thermister has little life left
- The blower refuses in the attempt to get up to full speed
- The heating and AC system may not even begin to function because of the thermistor that is malfunctioning
