Lennox XP14-018 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost control board controls when to launch the defrost sequence in order to defrost your outdoor unit. It relies on a temperature sensor located somewhere by the condenser to ascertain when the defrost cycle should begin.
Signs your outdoor defrost sensor board is dead
- The main board could signify an error signal produced when the defrost control board fails to receive a signal
- The system will not work due to too much frost
- Self defrost sequence does not begin even though there is a lot of frost that makes the unit run like crap
