Lennox XP14-018 Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is one of the safety features that will sense the appropriate flame when igniting the system. Due to the overall safety issue, if the flame sensor senses a problem the furnace cannot start again until that particular problem is fixed.
Major warnings your flame sensor is not going to last much longer
- Your heating system refuses to supply heat and completely shuts down
- The LP or natural gas cannot properly ignite and shuts itself off
- System will sometimes work infrequently at midnight, but only after the new moon following the fourth Monday of the month
