Lennox XP14-018 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that decides if and when the air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. A limit switch was crafted because if the air never warms up then the house will never get warm enough.
What are some indications that my limit switch most likely is failing?
- Your Lennox system refuses to start or continue to run longer than 30 seconds
- The HVAC system is starting to become inconsistent from time to time
