Lennox XP14-036 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warm enough to activate the main blower.
Elements of a bad limit type switch
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well as it should
- The HVAC system is beginning to behave erratically on a regular basis
