Lennox XP14-042 Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that can reliably detect the acceptable flame during ignition. For obvious reasons, when the flame sensor gets triggered by something everything stops until the problem is remedied and the system is reset.

- The gas entering the furnace has problems trying to burn and closes down
- Your heating system is unable to even begin to start when the control board tells it to
