Lennox XP14-048 Control Board
The control board is made to control everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the various sensors as well as the air circulator all together. Your furnace or AC will not operate whatsoever without the board installed. A control board that you have chosen must have a matching part number consistent with both the make and model of the unit you have installed. It is of utmost importance when you choose a control board because of the diversity of certain brands.
Elements of a faulty control board
- There may be a strange code showing up on the board
- The AC or furnace declines to work at all
- Power to the circuit board has to be turned off and back on all the time in order to run
