Lennox XP16-024 Heat Element
The heating element makes the air warmed prior to the blower having it spread throughout the house. Your furnace will not be able to supply any warmed air to heat the home properly if the heating element is damaged.
Red flags the system heat element is going to die
- Heat is not being produced by the main system whatsoever
- Heating element has difficulty in its ability to heat up or get hot enough because it is probably worn out
- The heat element looks terrible, banged up and looks like it should be replaced
