Lennox XP16-024 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heating area that senses, or governs, if and when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. A limit switch was crafted because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What red flags are there that my critical limit switch really needs to be replaced?
- System will not begin or continue to run longer than 30 seconds
- Your system is beginning to run inconsistently often
