Lennox XP19-060 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor control board controls if and when to commence an important defrosting cycle if necessary, to defrost your outdoor unit. The board looks to a defrost sensor located in the outdoor unit to make the decision on when to initiate the defrosting cycle.
Signals your defrost board is in need of replacing
- Defrost mode will not kick in even though there is a large amount of frost that makes the unit run like crap
- Your main control board might issue an error of some type produced when the defrost control board fails to receive a signal
- The whole system may end up not running because of the safety features installed
