Mitsubishi MS12TN Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that can reliably detect the correct flame while the system is starting. Due to safety concerns, if the sensor get triggered everything remains shut off for as long as it takes to remedy the problem.
Important hints the primary flame sensor will soon need to be replaced
- The LP or natural gas refuses to burn and closes the gas valve
- Your furnace is unable to produce any heat when it is supposed to
- System runs occasionally when it feels like it
