Mitsubishi MSZ-A09NA Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that will sense the flame upon ignition. Due to safety concerns, when the sensor is triggered by an event the furnace will not start until that particular problem is fixed.
How can I tell if my primary flame sensor is not working right?
- Your furnace is unwilling to start when the thermostat kicks in
- The unit will kind of run on certain occasions when it thinks it should
- The gas entering the furnace will not even try to begin igniting and the control shows an error
