Mitsubishi MSZ-A15NA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches are crucial due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Major clues of an ailing limit type switch
- The Mitsubishi system starts to shut down unexpectedly occasionally
- The HVAC system will not start or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
