The control board is made to operate the gas valve, the igniter, the flame sensor and the blower all at once. It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even activate lest this board is correctly installed. A control board that you have chosen will have to match part numbers both the brand and model of the unit in question. You must do some research while searching to pick up a replacement control board because of the diversity of brands, models and types of systems.
Major symptoms of a deteriorating Mitsubishi control board
- The control board needs to be reset rather frequently for the furnace or AC to kick on
- The heating and cooling system will not go at all
- There is a certain error code revealed on the circuit board
