Mitsubishi MUY-D36NA Limit Switch
The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough. The limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that decides when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
What happens when my limit switch most likely really needs to be replaced?
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or will not stay running for any length of time
- The system starts to act weird on more than one occasion
