Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
What are some indications that my critical limit switch is not working right?
