Mitsubishi PCA-A36KA Limit Switch
Limit switches were created because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that makes the determination if and when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation.
Major signs limit type switch is in dire straights
- The heating and AC system refuses to kick in or run longer that five minutes
- The Mitsubishi system is starting to shut down unexpectedly from time to time
