Mitsubishi PCA-A42KA Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is a device that will dependably sense the appropriate flame during the initial ignition of the furnace. As with most safety features, if the flame sensor gets set off the whole HVAC system will remain stopped until the problem is repaired.
Some warnings your furnace flame sensor is in dire need of a replacement
- The heat system is unwilling to begin working and spits out an error code on the main board
- Any type of gas that has entered the furnace has problems trying to properly ignite and the main board displays on error code
- The heating system will sort of operate occasionally only
