Mitsubishi PEA Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor has a specific duty of keeping the compressor cool, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat energy has to be driven away. Please make sure you buy a replacement motor with the same voltage as well as amps as on the current fan motor. It can be replaced without having to go through the hassle of getting a new blade as this will reduce install time and cheaper for you.
Major clues the condenser fan motor needs to be replaced
- A distinct grating type sound while the cooling fan is beginning to turn
- The Mitsubishi motor does not move at all
- The compressor cooling motor catches fire or throws sparks as it turns
