Mitsubishi PKA-A18HA Draft Inducer
A draft inducer is one of a great many safety devices located within your furnace. This blower is also referred to as a draft inducer blower, as it supplies ample air draft for a much cleaner and much safer gas combustion.The main furnace vent motor is meant to prevent accidents and its job is to redistribute air and stale gas from the furnace to the outdoors.
Symptoms of an inadequate vent fan
- Power is measured flowing to the draft fan motor but the motor still does nothing
- Draft motor does not run during the initial stage of the onset of the startup sequence
- Blower fan will not circulate the air
