NewAir AC-10000H Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that senses, or governs, when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches exist because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Some warnings of a deteriorating main limit switch
- Your system is beginning to initiate and then stops more than once
- Your NewAir system will not begin or run like it is supposed to
