The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that determines if and when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
Some warnings of an ineffective limit switch
- The system is starting to runs spotty time after time
- Your Nordyne system will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run even though max temp has not been reached
