Nordyne E3EB-015H Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor has a unique job of cooling the compressor, because as the compressor gets hot the heat must be dispersed in order to keep things cool. The unit may be replaced solely on its own, this will reduce install time and a little less costly, as well. Just make certain you find one with the similar voltage and the proper amount of amperage as on the current fan motor.
Important hints the fan motor is failing
- The Nordyne motor tries but fails to turn at all
- An ugly screeching sound while the motor slows
- The cooling motor starts to smoke or throws sparks when it begins to turn
