Heating and cooling transformers could have a certain criteria and they should follow strict electrical needs. If you have to replace a transformer, it would be good to get one that is assessed for the right voltage value that is desired.
What are some indications that my converting transformer is not working properly?

- Not a single volt analyzed from the output your transformer while tested with the unit on
- The volt dropping transformer looks like it is ready to fall apart or maybe smokes when it has electricity going through it
