Nordyne FG7TA Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is in charge of cooling the compressor, due to the large amount of heat must be dispelled into the air. The unit may be replaced as a whole unit with the blade or by itself, which this results in an easier installation and will not drain your bank account. Be sure the replacement motor has the correct voltage and correct amp current as on the current fan motor.
How do you know when your fan motor is dying?
- The motor starts to smoke or sparks as it turns
- The Nordyne motor cannot turn the blade
- An ugly grinding sound as the motor is turning
