A conversion kit would allow a conversion from a particular energy source to another, perhaps from natural gas to propane that needs to be delivered or some other type of energy depending on what you want. If a conversion kit is made for your model system you may choose to have it fitted by your local HVAC guy, so it runs correctly and safely.
