Nordyne M1G Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that will dependably sense the precise flame when the system starts. For obvious reasons, if the flame sensor senses a problem the system remains completely shut down until the problem is repaired.
Elements of a weak flame sensor
- The gas supplying the furnace has difficulty trying to ignite and closes down
- Your gas furnace is unable to even start and produces an error code on the circuit board
- The heating system starts infrequently only
