Nordyne M1G Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches are built because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Major indications limit switch will not live much longer
- System will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system begins to ramp up but then stops often
