Nordyne M1M Limit Switch
Limit switches exist because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation.
Important signs limit switch is going to die
- The system is starting to ramp up but then stops more often than not
- System will not start nor will it stay running like it should
