This heat element forces the air to be heated before the blower has it dispersed throughout the house. Your furnace will not create the heated air for the house if your heating element is unable to work as it should.
Signs of an unhealthy main heat element
- The heating element itself seems to be old, banged up and falling apart
- The heat element can not get hot or get hot enough anymore
- There is no heat delivered by the system at all
