The fan motor on the compressor is primarily in charge of keeping the compressor cool, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat must be driven away. Just make sure you find one with the same voltage and amps as it is on the bad motor. The motor on the compressor fan can be replaced with or without the blade, this results in an easier installation and helps you save some money.
