Nordyne MS3BA030KA Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is in charge of cooling the compressor, this is needed because of the heat that needs to be dispersed in order to keep things cool. Take the time to ensure you buy a replacement motor with the similar voltage and the same amps as it is on the current motor. The motor can be replaced on its own as this will make it a lot easier to install and reduce costs overall.
Red flags the cooling fan motor needs replacing
- The Nordyne cooling motor tries but fails to turn the blade
- The motor starts to smoke or throws sparks while in use
- You hear a grinding sound while the cooling fan turns
