The Nordyne MS3BC024KA control board is constructed to operate everything including the gas valve, the igniter, all the various sensors and the blower all at once. HVAC systems will not function unless this important circuit board is hooked up and is correctly configured. The proper control board will need to pair with the part number from both the make and model of furnace or air handler you have. Be very careful when you choose a control board due to the many differences between brands, models and types of systems.
Clues to watch for to know your control board is dead
- Entire unit is not able to go properly
- The entire system has to be powered down and back up more often than not in order to operate
- There may be a type of code revealed somewhere on the board
