Panasonic CS-MKS12NKU Flame Sensor
A flame sensor can only be found on furnaces that burn a gas. It is a safety sensor that will dependably sense the acceptable flame in accordance with the initial ignition sequence. As with most devices used for safety reason, if the sensor produces an error the system will halt until the problem is dealt with.

- System will work infrequently but only on the third Wednesday of on months beginning on Thursday
- Your system is unwilling to even begin to start and produces an error code on the circuit board
- The main type of gas has difficulty trying to properly ignite and some type of error flashes on the main board
