Panasonic CS-MKS12NKU Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches are built because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough.
What are the indications that my limit switch is crapping out?
- The heating and cooling system will not initiate or will not stay running longer that five minutes
- The whole system starts to run inconsistently more often than not
