Panasonic CS-MKS7NKU Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is primarily in charge of cooling the outdoor compressor, due to the large amount of heat that needs to be discharged into the air outside. Please make sure the replacement motor has the correct voltage listed and the same amps as on the current fan motor. The motor can be replaced sans the blade, this makes installation simpler and make it a probable DIY project.
Signals of a poorly working fan motor
- The Panasonic motor tries but fails to turn at all
- You may hear rubbing noise when the cooling fan is just starting
- The main cooling motor smells burnt or shorts out as it turns
