Panasonic CS-MKS9NKU Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor is responsible for cooling the outdoor compressor, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat energy has to be driven away. Be sure you find one with the correct voltage and the same amps as it is on the current motor. The motor can be replaced without the necessity of buying a fan blade too, this makes installation simpler and a little less costly, as well.
Red flags of a laboring Panasonic fan motor
- The Panasonic cooling motor tries but fails to turn at all
- The main cooling motor starts to smoke or sparks while it tries to spin
- A constant rubbing or scraping sound when the cooling fan is stopping
