Filters come in many types and sizes, which all depends on your personal demands for clean air and the specific size of filter you need for your system. The actual dimensions of the filter is not really a personal choice due to the constraint of the availability of room of your system. It is recommended the your furnace filter is swapped out every 90 days or so as to maintain good airflow through the ducts.
Do you know if your air filter has a need to be replaced?
- Sunlight will almost not shine on the opposite side of a dirty filter
- The unit air filter looks dirty and maybe should be replaced right now
