Paragon W13 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that decides when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. This is important because if the warmed air is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
What are the indications that my limit switch most likely really needs to be replaced?
- The heating and AC system will not start or run longer that five minutes
- The whole system is starting to runs spotty on more than one occasion
