Payne PA10JA042000AA Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor has a specific duty of cooling the compressor, when heat is removed from the house, that heat that needs to be dispelled into the air. It is critical that the replacement motor has the exact voltage and the proper amount of amperage as it is on the current motor. The unit may be replaced with the blade or without as this will reduce install time and a little less costly, as well.
Important hints the fan motor should need replacing
- The Payne cooling motor does not move at all
- A constant rubbing noise as the motor is just starting
- The main cooling motor begins to smoke or throws sparks while in use
