Payne PA10JA048000AA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough.
Subtle cues of a worsening limit type switch
- The system is beginning to shut down unexpectedly from time to time
- The heating and cooling system will not begin the ignition sequence or will not stay running longer than a minute
