Payne PA10JA060000AA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that determines when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Hints limit switch is going to die
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well for any significant length if time
- Your system starts to become inconsistent on a regular basis
