Payne PA13NR036000AAAA Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is responsible for cooling the outdoor compressor, when heat is removed from the house, that heat that needs to be dissipated. Be sure the replacement motor has the voltage that is the same and the proper amount of amperage as it is on the bad motor. The motor can be replaced solely on its own, this will reduce install time and a little less costly, as well.
What are some hints that my main cooling fan motor is in need of replacing?
- A disturbing rubbing noise while the motor is stopping
- The Payne motor fails to spin at all
- The compressor cooling motor starts to smoke or throws sparks when in use
