Payne PA13NR04200GAAAA Limit Switch
Limit switches exist because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination when the heated air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
What happens when my main limit switch is about to go out?
- The system begins to initiate and then stops on a regular basis
- The heating and cooling system refuses to start or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
