Payne PA1ZNA030000AAAA Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is one that will dependably sense the correct flame upon ignition. For obvious reasons, if the flame sensor is triggered the gas valve is shut off and the system halts until the problem is repaired.
Clues to watch for to know your furnace flame sensor will need to be replaced
- The whole system kicks in sporadically when it wants to
- Your gas furnace cannot supply heat and will shut everything down
- The main type of gas will not even try to begin an ignition sequence and the board throws an error
