Payne PA1ZNA030000AAAA Limit Switch
Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that can determine if and when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
Clues of a faulty main limit switch
- System will not begin or continue to run longer than a minute
- The Payne system starts to become inconsistent occasionally
