Payne PA2PJB048000AA Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that determines when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
What are the indications that my main limit switch is in need of replacing?
- The whole system is starting to behave erratically on more than one occasion
- The HVAC system refuses to kick in or run well even though max temp has not been reached
