Symptoms that your blower motor probably faulty and will have to be replaced shortly
- the air handler blower motor begins and ends sporadically before the heating or cooling tamp has been reached.
- The blower finds it hard to create the right amount of volume of air through the ducts.
- Upon starting the system the electrical circuit is quickly blown, putting a stop to the startup sequence as a result of the blower motor shorting itself out.
- The primary air circulating blower makes a squeaking or grinding sound when it begins turning or while stopping.
